Strengthening Collaboration, Continuously Promoting Quality and Efficiency Enhancement of Overseas Business

On May 28th, Wang Zhijian presided over a KION Group business meeting, researching and coordinating further deepening of comprehensive business collaboration between Weichai and KION. He emphasized that China has a mature new energy industry chain, and KION should strengthen new energy power system supporting cooperation with Weichai Group, plan ahead, transform rapidly, and seize global new energy industry development opportunities.

On the morning of May 29th, Wang Zhijian presided over a first-half operational analysis meeting for European subsidiaries, listening in detail to work reports from executives of Weichai Luxembourg Company, German Linde Hydraulics, French Baudouin Moteurs, German ARADEX, Austrian VDS, and other enterprises. He emphasized that all European subsidiaries achieved good business performance in the first half of the year. Facing complex and severe global economic environment challenges, the second half should further conduct risk analysis, improve pressure resistance, advance market situation research and product reserves to ensure long-term sustainable healthy development.

On the afternoon of May 29th, Wang Zhijian presided over a European subsidiary business collaboration meeting, listening to reports on collaboration work between European subsidiaries and domestic group business and European supply chain construction situations. He required that broad collaboration space exists within the group, and they should coordinate internal procurement collaboration, R&D collaboration, and market collaboration, leveraging large group advantages to enhance overall competitiveness.

Chain Innovation, Promoting Group Scientific and Technological Innovation Toward World-Class Levels

Weichai Power European Science and Technology Innovation Center is located in Aachen, focusing on hydraulic power system frontier technology research. On May 30th, Wang Zhijian visited the innovation center for research, toured the electronic control simulation test bench, and listened in detail to frontier technology innovation and collaborative R&D with headquarters. He emphasized that Weichai European Science and Technology Innovation Center should leverage technological advantages, strengthen functional positioning, expand business fields, and provide technical guidance and collaborative R&D services for various group subsidiaries.

On May 30th, Wang Zhijian visited German FEV Company, toured new energy and fuel cell laboratories, and conducted in-depth exchanges with FEV Company Chairman Dr. Pischinger and technical experts. Both parties clarified further strengthening cooperation in pickup trucks, VAN vehicles, large-bore engines, heavy truck gas engines, and new energy test cabins.

On June 2nd, Wang Zhijian visited Austrian AVL Company, toured AVL's newly invested new energy laboratory, and held discussions with AVL Company Chief Operating Officer Lukas Walter. Both parties clarified continuing to strengthen exchange and cooperation in commercial vehicle virtual simulation and new energy powertrain forward design.
